Do you want to build your business development, marketing and consulting skills while developing strong relationships with organizations across a variety of industries?
As a member of the Marketing and Business Development team you will report directly to the VP of Marketing and Business Development. In this role you will help us to market and sell PeopleMetrics service offerings. You will assist in the development of proposals and in the creation of marketing content, including brochures, case studies, white papers, etc., while working with subject matter experts, as needed.
In this role you will split your time between marketing and business development activities.
Marketing activities:
- Identify and coordinate speaking engagements for senior management
- Attend trade shows and coordinate pre- and post-trade show activities
- Draft press releases, case studies and other promotional materials
- Support development of proposals and sales presentations
- Help coordinate client events (eg., First Annual PeopleMetrics Summit, quarterly meetings, etc.)
- Support PeopleMetrics quarterly Webinars
- Support development and on-going management of E-Newsletter
- Assist in developing, monitoring and improving long-term marketing strategy
Business Development activities:
- Conduct market research identifying prospective clients within existing and new market verticals
- Contact prospective clients
- Support all internal and external sales efforts
- Assemble marketing materials and PowerPoint presentations for prospective clients on behalf of team
- Assist in developing, monitoring and improving long-term business development strategy
Your marketing and business development activities will involve working across PeopleMetrics practice areas of Employee Engagement, Customer Engagement, and Strategic Market Research. In addition, you will focus your efforts in a number of key verticals: pharmaceuticals, healthcare, financial services/banking, food and beverage, entertainment and communication and hospitality. Experience marketing and selling to HR Directors and/or Marketing Managers within large organizations is highly valued.

Do you have…?
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing and business development (experience in professional services marketing/selling a plus)
- A passion for sales, business development and marketing
- Outstanding writing skills
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with e-marketing strategies, including SEO, E-Newsletters, Webinar technologies
- Familiarity with ACT!, SalesForce.com or other CRM systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience writing proposals and assembling sales presentations
- Initiative, creativity and a passion for solving client problems
- Knowledge of the professional services industry
