nGauge™ 360

More and more organizations are faced with the need to shift from a paternalistic culture to one where employees are given more responsibility for their actions and attitudes. PeopleMetrics has developed a targeted 360 instrument to assist organizations in achieving this type of cultural change by allowing staff members to measure, manage and improve their own engagement levels.

 

The nGauge™ 360 tool was built from PeopleMetrics core Employee Engagement survey (the E40) and includes survey items that measure employees' individual attitudes and behaviors. The instrument is structured around the emotional and functional dimensions known to drive Employee Engagement and business results. Through self-assessment and targeted feedback from managers, peers, direct reports, and customers (internal and external) on the behaviors that align with these dimensions, employees are able to take charge of their own engagement levels. Those giving feedback also have the opportunity to provide open-end feedback about actions individuals should start, stop and continue doing in order to develop further.

 

Employees at all levels benefit from nGauge™ 360 feedback. Each employee that participates in the nGauge™ 360 process receives a custom report, which includes:

 

  • The average rating from each group of colleagues giving feedback.

  • Thought starters for improvement; these are based on PeopleMetrics best practices and ensure the 360 information is highly actionable.

  • Direct suggestions from co-workers and customers about specific behaviors the individual can adopt in order to improve.
